Massage and Bodywork
Massage Therapy
With six different styles to choose from, there’s something here for everyone.
Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Infant Massage
These services are performed by a licensed massage and bodywork therapist with additional training and extensive experience in prenatal, labor, postpartum, and infant massage.
We recommend consulting your health care provider prior to scheduling a prenatal massage.
MediCupping Therapy
MediCupping is a system of vacuum therapies that have been used extensively to address a wide variety of concerns. It includes manual massage cupping, vacuum machine facilitated cupping, and magnetic micro-cupping. The suction intensity can vary from very light gentle suction and release techniques suitable even for children and pregnant women to intense lifting, scooping, shaking, and twisting motions for adhered muscular and fascial layers in athletes. The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles and fascial restrictions, encourage blood and lymph flow, and sedate the nervous system encouraging a deeply relaxed state.
Essential Oil Applications
Both the AromaTouch™ Technique and Symphony of the Cells™ Restorative Essential Oil Application can be enjoyed as a stand-alone session
OR as an add-on service that does not increase the session length.
Touch for Health
Touch for Health is a safe and practical alternative therapy designed to balance the body's electrical energy system using muscle responses to the application of gentle pressure. By lightly testing/monitoring specific muscles for their response to gentle pressure, we will identify muscular and energetic imbalances and stress patterns that are occurring. Balance is restored by gently stimulating specific reflex points on the body that correspond with the impaired area.
Balance & Harmonize Integration
Rooted in Touch for Health™ and other forms of Specialized Kinesiology, Soteria’s unique Balance & Harmonize sessions use muscle response testing to decipher your body’s priorities.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST)
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle therapeutic method of assessing and balancing the body's craniosacral system: the system is composed of the membranes and fluids which surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
The craniosacral and nervous systems are connected to the rest of the body through connective tissue called fascia. These connections allow CranioSacral Therapy to effect distant areas and organ systems of the body, especially impacting the nervous, musculoskeletal, endocrine, and vascular systems.
Because such a light touch is used, CST is appropriate for all ages, from infants to elders, and for most conditions. .
Myofascial Release
Struggling with "stuck" tension or chronic pain that relaxation massage won’t reach? MFR is a specialized, gentle therapy that targets the body’s connective tissue. By using slow, long sustained pressure, it unwinds deep restrictions to improve posture, resolve old injuries, and helping you move effortlessly and live pain-free. Experience lasting relief while targeting the "fascia" to resolve chronic pain and restricted motion.
Breast Health Education & Care
With one in eight women being diagnosed with severe breast disease, regular self-assessment and care has never been more important for all women. We show women how to become comfortable performing regular comprehensive self-exams, breast focused lymphatic drainage and self-massage, and teach them to identify and resolve areas of congestion while working with other health care providers as needed.
